Centre for Criminal Justice, Policy and Research

(CCJPR) is an independent advisory, policy, research and advocacy organisation that operates in the domain of criminal law and its practice and procedure generally. It seeks to enhance the administration of criminal law through legal reforms and promote compliance with due process, rights and fair trial procedures in order to establish an efficient system of criminal justice in Ghana within the core tenets of the adversarial system. CCJPR focus areas include access to justice and administration of criminal justice (pre-trial and trial,) prisons and penal reforms, law reform, gender violence, violence against children and juvenile justice, anti-corruption, anti-terrorism and money-laundering.
