Jude Atakora Tufuor
Jude Atakora Tufuor holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the University of London, UK, Master of Laws (LLM) in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Legal Professional Skills from City University, UK specialising in International Trade Law. Jude was called to the English and Ghana Bars in 2013 and 2014 respectively. He has been a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in the United Kingdom since 2009 and a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London.
He has immense expertise in banking & financial institutions, securities & commodities trading, international trade sales, international arbitration and carriage of goods. Jude has represented Cocoa Marketing Company (GH) Limited (CMC) in international arbitrations and was involved in reviewing and advising Cocoa Marketing Company (GH) Limited in its 2017/18 cocoa crop year syndicated loan of US$ 1.3 billion.
He is currently a part-time law lecturer at Central University, Ghana and teaches Commercial Law. He has written articles on syndicated loans with regards to the cocoa industry in Ghana, sale of goods, bills of lading and admissible evidence.
