Biography

Prior to joining Law Plus, Samuel worked at Ashong Benjamin & Associates as a Junior Partner where he worked on a number of corporate transactions in the banking, energy, mining, and oil and gas sectors. He also worked as a lawyer at Merson Capital Ltd, a transaction advisory firm in Accra where he advised on financial restructuring and capital increase for statutory companies and private companies. He has also provided research assistance to Professor Henrietta Mensa-Bonsu, Dr. Peter Atupare, and Maame Abena Mensa-Bonsu in various publications. He was a lecturer at Lancaster University in Ghana, where he taught fairness and succession and the law of evidence. He currently manages the Ghana Law Hub, an online law magazine, and the Changing Lives Endowment Fund, an NGO that provides support and mentoring programs to young people in Ghana. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) the University of Ghana. He qualified as a Solicitor & Barrister of the Supreme Court of Ghana in 2017.
