Biography
Kweku Attakora Dwomoh is actively involved in litigation, constitutional law, corporate and commercial transactions, media law, agricultural law, project finance, trade finance, human rights advocacy, consulting, international trade and investment issues, and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms. More specifically and literally, any form of issue related to international trade and investment falls on Kweku’s desk. His penchant and experience in litigation, corporate transactions, and academia make his advice and client solutions top-notch and watertight. Kweku was the first intern to be employed when the company was founded, the first national service staff to be hired, and the first student recruited by the company. Currently, Kweku is a junior partner of the firm admitted to practice law in all courts of Ghana as a lawyer and prosecutor at the Supreme Court of Ghana. He has represented several clients in several areas, including commercial oil transactions and litigation, corporate litigation, corporate structuring and negotiations, and debt collection. He teaches equity law and international trade and investment at the University of Professional Studies. He is particularly proficient in all areas of law but more specifically, he has an unwavering interest and experience in trade facilitation around the world, the African Continental Free Trade Area which is currently the largest free trade area the world has ever seen, and regional integration. His desire is to support the African Union in its Agenda 2063 by providing Africans with the Africa they want through trade. Kweku is also a prolific writer and researcher and co-author of the novel and first book of its kind on the sale of goods in Africa, currently published by LexisNexis. He has to his credit several publications covering several disciplines and fields and is a columnist in several newspapers.
