Biography

Dennis Adjei Dwomoh is the Managing Partner of Law Plus (Lawyers) in Accra. Prior to joining Law Plus, he was a junior partner at Kulendi @ Law. He has over 12 years of professional experience as a senior counsel intervening for clients before Ghana’s superior courts, administrative bodies, and commissions of inquiry. He was the plaintiff’s lead counsel in the case of CENTRE FOR JUVENILE DELINQUENCY v GHANA REVENUE AUTHORITY AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL in which the Supreme Court struck down the law that required anyone to provide their tax identification number before entering court. He has extensive experience in corporate and commercial litigation and dedicates his pro bono activities to issues relating to children and youth. Dennis is a founding member of the Faculty of Law of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and has also been a lecturer at GIMPA Business School as well as GIMPA Public Service School where he has taught courses including the business legal environment, law and regulatory framework for health and public service. He has also taught at the Central University of Ghana and was a lecturer at the Institute of Distance Learning, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) where he lectured to students in criminal and juvenile justice administration.
